Girls in Aviation Day - GIAD
GIAD is a trademarked event where Women in Aviation Chapters from all across the world host hundreds of events (usually on the same day in September each year) to introduce the next generation to the aviation industry.
Globally, the event is aimed towards female students aged between 7-17 years old and is designed to showcase a variety of career possibilities to them. This is achieved through interactive, inspiring and fun activities.
As a chapter, we have worked with multiple industry partners and education providers to host GIAD events in WA, NSW, QLD, VIC, NT and SA in both regional and non-regional locations. Best of all, GIAD events are always FREE!
