Join us for an engaging online forum featuring incredible women working across different areas of aviation engineering. This session will give you a behind-the-scenes look at their careers, the challenges they’ve navigated, and the opportunities available within this dynamic field.

Garvina Lui – B1 Engineer, RFDS Queensland

Lauren McIntosh – Senior Technical Records Officer, McDermott

Holly Perry – Electrical Engineer, Helimods
Holly Perry is a senior electrical engineer at HeliMods, based in Caloundra, Australia, where she works on a wide range of aircraft engineering projects focused on designing, integrating, and delivering multi‑mission systems. Her work covers the full project lifecycle, from early concept and system definition through to production support, certification, and operational support. Through this work, she enjoys turning complex ideas into practical, real‑world solutions and helping ensure aircraft are safe, reliable, and ready for the demanding environments they operate in.

Esther Olden - Mechanical Instructor/Assessor, QinetiQ Training Australia
Esther has 35+ years experience in aviation and has worked as a B1.1 CASA and NZCAA licenced engineer, engineering training manager and technical instructor during this time. She has worked in aircraft maintenance, overhaul and training with organisations including Air New Zealand, Qantas, Virgin Australia, Pacific Blue, Pratt & Whitney and Aviation Australia in Australia and New Zealand and is a passionate advocate for equity in aviation through her involvement with WAI Australia.
